Alfresco 42″ Insulated Jacket AIJ-42-01
The AIJ-42-01 is Alfresco’s specified insulating liner for installing a 42-inch grill head into a combustible island. On a grill this size, running three burners plus a rear infrared rotisserie burner and an integrated smoker, the heat load against surrounding structure is significant. The jacket is what stands between that heat and your framing.
It also gives you a properly engineered enclosure rather than a field-improvised one, which matters for inspection as much as for longevity. Stainless steel construction means the liner matches the grill for outdoor durability and handles the same repeated heat cycling without degrading.
