The Primo Cradle and Side Tables for Oval XX-Large holds the biggest Oval in a freestanding frame and puts a table on each side of it. Both parts are in this one listing, so it is a complete support: the grill is off the ground and the working space is already there.
A cradle is the simpler of the two ways Primo stands an XX-Large up. It is a frame that takes the grill and carries its tables, without the basket structure the cart base listing describes. Fewer parts, and the tables come as part of the deal rather than as a separate purchase.
On a grill this size the tables get used constantly. XX-Large cooks tend to be the long ones — overnight briskets, a full load of shoulders, big batches of ribs — and every one of them involves lifting hot deflector plates out, wrapping something, or staging trays going on and coming off. All of that wants a surface next to the lid, because every trip indoors is heat leaving the grill.
It holds the Primo Oval XX-Large ceramic charcoal grill, and nothing else in the range. The alternatives at this size are the Primo Cart Base with Basket for Oval XX-Large and the same cart with stainless steel side shelves, or the Primo cypress countertop table for the Oval XX-Large. Protection for it is in grill covers.
