The Kamado Joe Classic III in detail
Barbecuing in a ceramic egg is a tradition that has been tried and tested over centuries and primarily offers the advantages of insulation, economy and precise heat control. The Kamado Joe has a temperature spectrum that ranges from low-temperature cooking to baking pizza at well over 300°C.
The Kamado Joe is made of thick-walled ceramic with an additional ceramic box on the inside. This ensures that the heat is optimally reflected and stored inside.
The Classic III also includes the latest innovation from Kamado Joe, the SloRoller insert. The special shape distributes the heat – and the smoke during smoking – particularly evenly in the cooking chamber. The SloRoller insert has been specially developed for use up to 260°C. At higher temperatures, the insert can be replaced with the heat deflector stones.
You can see and, above all, taste the result. Evenly cooked and smoked food that hardly dries out thanks to the complete insulation of the grill.
Handling the Classic III
You will immediately notice the difference when you open the lid. Unlike comparable models, the lid is supported by an air pressure hinge, which reduces the force required to move the lid by up to 96%.
The undercarriage of the Classic III has been completely redesigned and is now made of solid, galvanized steel. The trolley has four swivel castors for easy transportation.
The two fold-down side shelves made of heat-resistant and weatherproof aluminum provide plenty of space.
The Divide and Conquer system offers you maximum flexibility thanks to its many possible combinations when barbecuing with the charcoal barbecue. The deflector stone, grill grate and other accessories such as the plancha or grill stone only take up half the grill surface, so you can combine direct and indirect heat, grill grates and accessories and even place them at three different heights.
