Adventure Card: Tinder Scraper Card is a wallet-sized steel scraper/descaler card with a precision edge designed for shaving dry tinder or preparing your lakeside catch.
We were camped deep in the backcountry when our local guide challenged me to start a fire with “almost nothing.” His pile of damp sticks tried to make me the punchline of a joke. I slipped the Tinder Scraper Card from my wallet, scraped a clean curl of dry shavings off a piece of bark, and sparked it to life in a few steady strokes. The fire caught. He grinned.
Sometimes the lightest tool makes the strongest impression.
